Another Microsoft game comes to Steam on March 9th.
Forza Horizon 4 from Microsoft is coming to Steam on March 9th. It marks the first when Steam has been able to access the Forza franchise, and it will include cross-play with players on Xbox consoles, those streaming Forza Horizon 4 through xCloud, and the normal Windows 10 version.
Next month, Xbox Game Studios will launch Forza Horizon 4 on the platform. One can play it with Game Pass or purchase it through the Xbox application.
Playground Games has been slowly enhancing Forza Horizon 4 with a battle royale-like mode and expansions. A Halo driving experience even showed up in the game a couple of years back, and the Lego Speed Champions expansion includes scenery and brick cars. Another Hot Wheels car pack is also coming soon, which will include various new cars for $10. While this doesn’t mark the game’s introduction on PC, it offers a new path to get behind the virtual wheel for gamers.
Forza Horizon 4 also includes cross-play, so you can race against companions on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and different gadgets through xCloud streaming.
Steam players can purchase additional items and expansions for the game, including Lego-themed DLC and Fortune Island. Additionally, you can hop into some of 007’s most popular rides with the Best of Bond Car Pack and look ahead to the upcoming Hot Wheels Legends Car Pack.
Microsoft’s Forza embrace of Steam appears after the company switched almost nearly three years back, promising to convey more Xbox titles via Steam. In 2019, Halo: The Master Chief Collection showed up on Steam, followed by last year’s Sea of Thieves and gears 5. The company on Steam then sold upto a million copies of Sea of Thieves in the space of around six weeks. Close by Microsoft Flight Simulator, each of the three titles are presently found in the top merchants’ list on Steam.
